an orgasm came in the mail today

It's still hot here and our A/C still isn't fixed. (Maybe tomorrow, the A/C fixers say. Maybe.) Anyway, on my drive home from work I was thinking about all the things that irritate me. Like the slow ass driver in front of me. Like how much the radio stations SUCK. Like how it is going to be FUCKING HOT when I get home. You get the idea. I was grumpy.
So I pulled into the driveway with a scowl on my face and stopped to get the mail. And in the mail was a mysterious manila envelope, addressed to Kelly L-Stamos. And that scowl, it just disappeared. Oooh, I was excited! I didn't even wait to get into the house to open it. I stood there in my driveway, in the scorching heat, and tore that sucker open.

It's official! (And I'm so framing this.)
And OMG you'll never guess what it was! JOHN STAMOS RETURN ADDRESS LABELS! You know, with my address and PICTURES OF JOHN STAMOS! And OMG they are HOT! I can't stop looking at the label sheets. I might have even peeled some off and stuck them all over my body. I'm not saying I did, just that I might have. Okay, I totally did.

The return address on the envelope was some eBay chick I don't know in Louisiana. But I knew right away who they were from. Partly because this is SO her and partly because she asked for my address last week. Heh.
This one is my favorite

Hmmm, no, maybe this one is my favorite

THANK YOU MRTL! THAAAAANNK YYOOOOOOUUUUUU!!!!

well, the photographer said to show my pearly whites

At the suggestion of Doreen, I am posting my 1st grade school picture, known by my family and friends as The One With The Pearls. You can see that even then, I was a fashion trendsetter with a cute haircut with highlights.
(Click pic to enlarge.)
I'm wearing a string of pearls I got from my dress-up box. My mom says she does not remember discussing the pearls on picture day and is certain she would have tried to talk me out of wearing them had there been a discussion. But somehow, there they are. This is actually my favorite of my school pictures, and certainly the classiest.
I would love to see childhood pictures of you folks, so I am hereby inviting you to post such a picture on your own blog, if you so desire. And since my birthday is next week, you can consider this your birthday gift to me. Or, if you prefer, you can buy me a pony. Either one is fine.
