peach picking

This weekend we went peach picking with some friends. And then we visited a vineyard just down the road from the orchard, where we tasted wine and had a lovely picnic of cheese, chocolate, ginger cookies and, of course, peaches. The ones that remain have a noble calling - peach pie!

Those peaches are beautiful! My favorite part of summer is all the fresh fruit to be picked.

I have to get a dress yet for my sister's wedding (in 5 weeks!!) and I'm 25 wks pregnant--it's impossible! (well only because I don't want to spend a mint as this will hopefully/possibly be my last pregnancy)
