It's hard to find a role model. I mean, I can't have someone in my family as a role model, because I know everything about them - good and bad. And it's impossible to idolize someone whose every flaw you know. But, at the same time, it's hard to admire someone famous, because you're afraid of what they might be hiding, that you'll never know. But, just the same, here are some people I admire:
Jesus
Mom
Aunt I
Dad
Aunt W
Wendy
Janet Jackson
Mariah Carey
Whitney Houston
Gabrielle Reese

I think your Aunt I and Jesus would be proud that they made the list with Mariah
Whitney Houston is an interesting choice. Not one I would've picked. Why do you think of her as a person to admire? For her early career?
You made a cassette tape for me when we were about this age. You had recorded songs off the radio and the songs were absolutely awesome! "I Would Do Anything for Love" by Meatloaf..."I Saw the Sign" by Ace of Base..."Again" by Janet Jackson. I guess my point is, why didn't Ace of Base make the list?
Whitney - "Crack is whack!" Of course she should be on the list. (William is high.)
Mariah? ...
p.s. I'll be in Maryland May 10-17. Any chance of a PEBBLES meetup?
haha Mariah Carey! Boy have things changed since 1994! I'm pretty sure that's the same year I had a poster of her on my bedroom wall...
WHAT? No John Stamos??
Ha! You've tried to fool us, but Jesus used to be in there somewhere...at the top, no less! ;)
Andrea, I'd scrunched Jesus at the top of the list, clearly as a last-minute guilt decision. But yeah, I've changed a lot since then....
This is so cute. Seriously sweet.
Yesterday I threw away my old diary because it was so badly water damaged. Maybe it was a good thing because I know I never mentioned Jesus in mine.
What's sad is that if this were my journal entry for 19 november 1985, Pee Wee Herman would have made the list.
Gabrielle Reese is at the top of my list, she's one cool chick.
