Below are six photos from our trip. Each of them represents a story or some element of our experience. I'll tell the tale for each, but first I thought I'd give you a chance to guess what they are.

# 2 is a pasty.
#1 is a broken magnifying glass that you used to kill ants.
#6 is all the different flavors of pot you can smoke.
#1 looks like one of those Indian DreamCatchers.
#2 is a highly illuminated, artsy rendering of your naughty bits.
#3 looks like the spindly legs of one of those freaky camel spiders. *shudder*
#4 is ...umm...SAND?
#5 would be totally awesome if those were the balconies of the hotel you stayed in. THAT's some great architecture. PRETTY!
#6 I'm guessing is the Dubai marketplace, and those are some spices you can use to either season your Dubai cuisine or, you know, roll 'em and smoke 'em.

#1 is poor F-Diddy's lens; he took a hit. Methinks men were fighting over you in one of those hoochie bars where you wore your sexxxy shirt, and F-Diddy got in the way of someone's fist and/or beer bottle.
#2 is the ceiling/pinnacle of some mosque that you visited during a daily excursion a day or two before the Fateful F-Diddy Demise.
#3 is the crab that bit your heinie one morning after frollicking on the beach all night with your hunny-bunny rob.
#4 is the equivalent amount of sand that you brought back to the US in your undies, shoes, suitcase, and hair; or it's a picture from your jeep ride out into the desert one evening.
#5 is the inside of an office building or mall, but more likely it's the stack of boxes of shoes that you brought along on your trip.
and #6 are different incenses used for burning in a traditional religious worship in dubai found for purchase in a local marketplace.
(i know his name isn't actually F-Diddy, but i really like it and it sounds very gangsta. like he's in a rap band or something. word.)
I agree with Raz on all but #6: I think they are spices, not incense.
And you are totally showing that you've leafed through Rob's GAMES Magazines once in a while :)
I like F. Diddy, too. Rz is a (sometimes) genius. She got them all except #3, which I think is a hairy spider kinda thing, and # 5 which, as Ladybug mentioned above, is a GREAT shot of the architecture of your hotel.
And look how nice and sweet I'm being, for fear a swarm of your faithful will rise up to protect you from me (PROTECT! you from ME!).
They got your back. Your front, however, is up for grabs. Which ... hee!
There is no way that I can even attempt to outdo these excellent guesses. Eh, what the hell. Here goes.
1. The front wheet of a bicycle you were riding while taking a trail ride through the dunes. (Poor Fiddy!)
2. What the hotel toilet looked like to you after partying all night in that killer lace-me-up and tie-me-down top.
3. A new pet you adopted and brought home to the kitties.
4. Your naked bare skin after spending a day at the pool. (Do I sound like a complete perv yet? Yeah, I thought so.)
5. The moguls at Dubai Emirates Mall.
6. The five varieties of oatmeal you got to choose from at the hotel's continental breakfast.
those are some really good guesses...i'll add mine to the list:
1-i have no idea, but may just be a cracked lens
2-dome/chandelier [of a mosque?]
3-a desert critter
4-sand
5-outside of a building...maybe the Burj-al-Arab?
6-spices! in the souk?
if #3 is one of those scary camel spiders like everyone is guessing, or any spider for that matter, i'm going to have to stop reading your blog forever!
#5 is that hotel that looks like a sailboat, from the inside. #6 is the market where spices just sit out in bins. the other ones elude me, but i can't wait to read the stories.
1.You took a hit and broke a lense, but bumped your noggin and 2. is what you saw spinning above your head. 3. In your delirium, you stumbled out into the sand and encountered scary harry there causing you to freak out only to be lost in the desert sand. 4. after days of wandering (5 minutes or so) you find your way to this amazing hotel where you promptly put down your American Express card and demanded to be pampered, but all they brought you were bags of potpouri.

I haven't read the other comments...here goes:
1- Broken mirror = not quite a 5 star hotel?
2- Looks like something from a castle or mosque = "old" Dubai?
3- Crab in the sand = showing too much skin in sexy bikini, getting shunned by the populace?
4- Sand dunes = I'm sensing a theme...almost like a desert theme...
5- Kick-ass building = "new" Dubai?
6- Something that went into the food you ate that you really wish you didn't know about?
