even cooler than swimming with dolphins

kelly  |  25 July 2006 - 2:33pm

Today I rode a fucking camel! I'll post photos later. (We're lucky to even have photos - poor D-Fiddy took a hit...that story later, too).

I rode a camel in Morocco and may I just say camels can be a wee bit grumpy? But a not-to-be-missed experience.

Nilbo  |  25 July 2006 - 6:51pm

It's hard enough riding a camel when it's just walking along. To ride one that's fucking? Now THAT, my friends, is talent. And yeah, bring on the pics!

RzDrms  |  25 July 2006 - 9:06pm

dude, i couldn't think of a single perverted comment earlier, so i just waited patiently for nilbo to stop by, because i knew he'd deliver.

If riding a camel is anything like riding a horse, I will have to respectfully say "No fucking WAY!"

When my legs and hips ache like that, I want it to be from overindulging in humpy humpy, not from trying to stay in the saddle.

Um, unless the humpy humpy involves a saddle, in which case...

Oh, skip it. Just when you didn't think you opinion of me could be any lower...

gora_kagaz  |  26 July 2006 - 4:50am

wow. that is really cool. i always wanted to ride a camel, but i never got the chance to. i think i would've chickened out at any rate, since i was eleven.

William  |  26 July 2006 - 7:03am

Bucky, Couldn't humpy humpy be from a camel?

ieatcrayonz  |  26 July 2006 - 7:55am

I am thrilled beyond belief for you, my fucking camel riding friend.

nicole  |  26 July 2006 - 2:06pm

i rode a camel at the zoo once. all i really remember is that camels have a very distinct stink.

anyway, hurry home! i can't wait to hear all about the trip!

Hello? My power was out for a few days and I come back to this? That you get to go to Dubai after talking about it? Wow. I mean, seriously that is total Wow.

Very, very cool. Have a lot of fun, be safe!

Bragger. ; )

(Camels! I love! Camels! Well maybe love! is a bit strong, but them camels, they 'aight, is what I'm saying. :) )

Danielle  |  27 July 2006 - 8:10am

So, did you have to steer and everything? Or was there someone leading it? Because I am way impressed if you had to actually use the reins to guide the camel.

My only experience with camel riding was also at the zoo as a child. It was kind of a sea-sick-inducing motion. But fun for its uniqueness, at the time.
