Thank God for digital cameras! For years, those freaking paparazzi have been all "Yeah, we'd love to take your photograph, dude, but hey, film doesn't grow on trees, ya know? So, like, couldja move back because we're hoping one of the Olson twins will come out of thet ladies room and doesn't this violate that restraining order anyway?"

But now! Now, with the digital and the internets and the everybody-who-has-a-blog-and-lives-in-Southern-California-is-a-celebrity-columnist? Perfect!

For once, there are more celebrity columnists than actual celebrities. This is the time I've been waiting for. I can be hot again! Smokin'. Pretty soon, no more goddamn "Excuse me, John, but we need a Happy Meal voided on register one and you've got the only key."

I'm back, babies. I'm back.

more than just having a jolly ole time, i hope you & rob are able to learn and enjoy being in such a different land and culture. it should be amazing, and i can't wait to hear what i know will be a beautiful interpretation of all you experience. i hope dubai is everything you wanted it to be, and i think it is just an awesome opportunity that you get to go to a new part of the world.
