One of the days in Paris, Rob and I had a lunch picnic in a park. And Rob glanced up at a nearby apartment building and exclaimed, "Look! It's a French Merv!" Here's the photo I took of him. He isn't as fat or hairy or naked as my Merv, but still! A Merv in Paris! Rock.
This came to mind because my Merv is currently at his windowsill, enjoying a snack of chips and orange juice. I admit it - I sorta missed him.

Le Merv?
just yesterday i was going to comment on here the chant "merv! merv! merv!" in the hopes you'd post more pix of him and his fine self. instead what do i get?! le merv!!! what more could a grrrl ask for?! :)
(p.s. remember that pic of me that i'd sent you and a few others so that you'd know i wasn't a big merv-person myself? yeah, a close friend told me that it's ugly and doesn't represent what i look like at all. so sorry if i scared you guys away!!!)
Le Merv has fancier digs than Merv: the Original. Either that or even the dinky Paris flats are in lovely buildings!
william, I "speak French" by just adding le in front of everything. Often, in Paris, I knew the Spanish word for something but not the French, so I'd just put le in front of the Spanish word. Rob was always like, "WTF are you SAYING?!"
That's too funny, Raz, that you were just longing for Merv. Clearly you and I are IN TUNE. As for the photo you sent, NOT scary! WTF? is your friend talking about? Seriously, if that is the "ugly" version of you, then it's a good thing we haven't met in person because your cuteness would either cause my head to explode or I might perhaps jump your bones. ;)
It was indeed a very nice apartment building in a great location, Ern. Which pretty much means that Le Merv is le wealthy. (See, william? See how I do it? I can't stop myself.)
