oooh, look at me with the perfect attendance
kelly | 30 June 2005 - 6:59am
I never had perfect attendance in school. Not once, not even a single year, ever. I always got sick and had to miss a day, which always somehow ended up being the day of a fieldtrip. (Yeah, universe was against me even back then.) So I am especially proud of my perfect attendance this month at klog. Look at the archive calendar! Every day is BOLD! I can't say I made it a goal to post daily, but it happened anyway and so now I'm going to brag about it.
Before you either 1) think I'm a complete lame-ass with no life or 2) try to emulate my attendance perfection, you should know that June is also the month I began using the auto-post feature. Yeah, I have to cheat to get perfect attendance...what of it?
Update: Lookit! LadyBug made me a badge!!! (Thanks, LB!)

You get a gold star for attendance, even if it's through auto-post. By the way, what is auto-post?
Extra gold stars and a package of crayonz to ye! And sometimes we were treated with MORE than one klog post. I want autopost. Either that or autopilot. I'm sure I can't afford either one.
Bente - Auto-post is a feature that allows you to attach a posting date/time to an entry when you submit it, and then it will automatically get posted at that time. So I can submit Monday evening what I want posted Tuesday morning. Or if I know I'm going to be gone on Saturday, I can arrange for something to be auto-posted on that day. It's a free feature of my blogware (Drupal), and I know Typepad has it as well. I dunno about Blogger....
Thanks for the crayonz, Monster! I'll be sure to eat them right away. :)
I think mrtl should make you a Perfect Attendance Badge.
I'd do it, but I don't have badge-making skillz.
Someone else needs to make this badge. I'm already responsible for two items in the sidebar. People are going to start talking.
Congrats on the perfect attendence, Kelly, and for mastering the auto-post. I'm just starting to play with it and keep messing up.
Aww LadyBug, you're sweet. But the box of crayonz that I'm going to have for lunch is reward enough!

"Let's give 'em somethin' to talk about
A little mystery to figure out,
Let's give em' somethin' to talk about
How about blove, blove, blooove?"
LadyBug, such a kidder. "I don't have badge-making skills." pshaw!
You're entirely welcome, hon. I'm so glad you like my kindergarten-level creation, made especially for you with my safety scissors and glue sticks.
I don't care if you auto-posted your way to accomplishing perfect attendance or not. It's still kick-ass that you made it! Congrats!
(hope you're still reading this post's commments...) there were THREE recently-graduating high school students in my area - THREE - that had perfect attendence...THROUGHOUT THEIR ENTIRE SCHOOL CAREER SINCE KINDERGARTEN. ummm, yes, you read that correctly. THREE students in my area did not miss one single day of school from kindergarten through their senior year. amazing. i was truly impressed.
Why thank you, Momo.
That is impressive, Raz! I remember a few of those in my graduating class. Either those kids never got sick, or they came to school sick and spread their germs to ME.
